The staff were extremely accomodating and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and they were only too willing to help or suggest.
The hotel has all the facilities associated with a good hotel. However, the hotel is 'tired' in the sense that it could do with a facelift / refurbishment, in particular in the bedrooms. The website shows a picture of the back of the hotel ( beach facing ) which is not what is encountered when you arrive at the hotel. Improvements on first impressions would go a long way to ensure this hotel reaches a wider group.

Comfortable Stay Worth the Price
Our sea view suite was a good surprise, spacious and well-kept. Enjoyed a hot buffet breakfast each morning, a true highlight! For better access, ask for a room further from the reception. Our location felt private yet accessible. Remember to check the on-site recycling options!

Breakfast adequate
Room was scruffy and seedy - decor and furniture seemed from c. 1970, scratchy blankets, bathrooom not thoroughly cleaned - so bad we checked out after one night even though we were rudely refused a refund for the 2nd night. As bad a hotel as we've ever stayed at in UK.

The hotel with cheap and budget rooms, in a local area, in beautiful grounds. Welcoming and amicable staff onsite. Lots of brilliant food. What a really lovely stay, nothing too much trouble.

The staff were very helpful and friendly.the room we were moved to (115) was very pleasent with its balcony and sea viewover the attractive gardens and tennis court
The assigned room 112 was awkward in its layout and limited bathroom space.we were therefore pleased to be moved on the 2nd day! The restricted hours for the Bar were a bore /inconvenience on the Friday afternoon when we wanted to buy some mineral water

Lots of space to sit and relax, spacious rooms, although furniture and bathroom a little dated and in need of updating, meals, both breakfast and evening were good value, extensive gardens and easy access to seafront.
Lack of bar facilities until 6pm each day, staff also reluctant to accept requests for tea and coffee during the day, this missed opportunity to provide guests with what should be standard in all hotels of this rating is a big negative and only pushes them into seeking facilities outside.

The Hotel was ideally situated for the beach and the town. The room was excellent, comfortable and very clean. Lovely views across the gardens and out to the sea. Staff were excellent and would go out of their way to help you if needed. The weather was excellent and did contribute to our stay for this time of year. Good choice of food for breakfast and we also had an evening meal which was excellent. would stay at this hotel again.

Very spacious room. Good location - access to town and also to beach.
Got call from reception at 10:45 to know why we had not checked out - very abrupt. we assumed checkout was 11;00

The room was fabulous. Stayed in Jasmin suite. The room was big with sofa, table and chairs, Lovely balcony and a breathtaking view of the bay. The hotel was friendly and comfortabe.. We had a whirlpool bath which was fun. I have to say I was very very sad to checkout. What a fantastic hotel. We will be back
The shower wasn't very good. You need to sit in the bath to get it to work, it won't mix hot and cold stood up. The balcony has a dip in it and when it rains it fills up like a bath. Neither things worried us though.
